Kirk Cousins's solid season continued Sunday in New Jersey with what was his best game of the season. And with that performance, the 38-year-old signal caller held onto his spot in the top five passing yards leaders across the NFL.
The big change came at the top. After Matthew Stafford held onto the top spot for several weeks, he was overtaken by Packers QB Jordan Love.
As for Cousins, he had moved from fifth to third last week. And he held onto the third spot this week.
While it was Cousins's best game of the season by several metrics, his performance this week wasn't nearly his best in terms of yards. He's only gone over 300 yards twice this season. What he has had is consistency in terms of passing. His 247 yards passing was actually his third lowest total of the season. At his current rate, he is on pace for over 4500 passing yards and the second highest total of his career.
