There’s never a lot of love lost between the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.
Bengals wideouts like Ja’Marr Chase have had plenty to say about the Ravens in the past. Now, there’s the whole Trey Hendrickson revenge thing going on in the background, among other things to spice up the AFC North rivalry.
Chase, though, took a parting shot at the Ravens after the game, especially when asked about a touchdown catch.
"That was man,” Chase said when asked about a fourth-quarter touchdown, according to Sam Cohn of the Baltimore Sun. “What about it? ... He [Nate Wiggins] got killed, it don't matter."
During the 35-13 beatdown, Chase caught five passes for 62 yards and a score. Film, though, showed the attention the Ravens gave him opened things up majorly for others, with Tee Higgins notably leading all receivers with six grabs for 148 yards and a score.
No word on what was said on the field itself between the two teams. But Chase getting a little jab-like insult in here will only make the late-December rematch between the teams even more interesting later this year.
