Liverpool faces Arsenal in the Premier League later

Liverpool could well strengthen its case for a Premier League title challenge today as it faces Arsenal at Anfield.

The Reds are building up momentum under Andoni Iraola, having won their last five games in all competitions, and they’ll have the chance to narrow the gap to the defending champions to three points with a victory today, which could see them emerge as true title contenders.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be focused on trying to move clear at the top of the table though after Manchester City’s defeat to Brighton on Saturday, although the Gunners do go into the game off the back of a shock defeat at the hands of League Two side Fleetwood, and will be eager not to slip up again.

Here's everything you need to know about how to watch Liverpool vs Arsenal in the US and UK today.

What time is kick-off?

The game kicks off at 4:30 pm UK time at Anfield. For fans in the US, that's 11:30 am Eastern Time and 8:30 am Pacific Time.

Is the game on TV?

Viewers in the UK will be able to catch all the action live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with coverage getting underway at 3:30 pm. Streaming options are available via Sky Go and Now TV.

Fans in the US will also be able to watch the game live, with coverage and streaming available via NBC.

Early team news

Liverpool looks like it has doubts over Jeremy Jacquet after the defender was not pictured during training on Friday. The French international did have a hamstring scare during last month's international break, and also came into the season having only just recovered from a serious shoulder injury.

Iraola has suggested Dominik Szoboszlai and Victor Munoz both have a "chance" of returning, having missed the Reds' last three games. The pair were also missing from training on Friday though, putting their involvement into further doubt.

Jeremie Frimpong remains out with a muscle injury, while long-term absentees Giovanni Leoni, Conor Bradley and Hugo Ekitike are not expected to return to training until later this month at the earliest.

Bukayo Saka will miss Arsenal's trip to Liverpool

As for the visitors, Riccardo Calafiori, Declan Rice and Christos Tzolis could all be in contention for a return. The trio all missed the defeat to Fleetwood in midweek, but have been back in training.

There's more doubt over Noni Madueke though, while Bukayo Saka will definitely miss out after suffering quad injury against Bayern Munich last week, with further scans needed to discover the full extent of the issue.

William Saliba remains out, and Max Dowman will also be absent through suspension after Arsenal failed in its appeal against the red card he received in midweek.
