British transport networks have caused chaos for a WWE star after she was left trapped in Scotland with no way to leave the country after she was stripped of her plane tickets

A WWE star has found herself in a nightmare situation as the superstar is fighting to get out of the UK.

Paige, real name Saraya-Jade Bevis, has taken to social media to share how she had become trapped in Scotland after her flight was cancelled and she found out trains weren't running. Taking to X, Paige shared her travel disaster with her followers. She joked Scotland didn’t want her to leave after her plane ticket was “given to another customer”, trapping her in the country.

The WWE superstar said: “Scotland I love you but why won’t you let me leave??? got up early to catch my flight, got there, they GAVE MY TICKET AWAY. They said they had to accommodate passengers on a previously delayed flight???? Never heard of that before. So I had zero seat.”

Ironically, Paige losing her seat didn’t make much difference as the plane she had been scheduled to board was cancelled after a storm hit Scotland. Paige added: “Then the flight ultimately didn’t leave. Scottish storm is going tf off. So most flights were cancelled.”

Looking for another way out of Scotland, Paige attempted to get a train but the plan was short-lived as she quickly discovered all the trains were cancelled. Paige said: “Tried to go get a 7-hour train to London to try and catch a flight from there. Trains are cancelled...”

With her options exhausted, Paige told fans that she would attempt to leave the country the next day after the British transport network had ultimately failed her. She said: “So now I gotta try and leave tomorrow.. I’ll let ya know how it goes.”

She added: “I gotta work tomorrow in Orlando and if I get outta here I’ll have zero downtime and have to head straight in from the flight.” The travel chaos comes after Paige’s last WWE match on the October 16 episode of SmackDown. Following her chaotic trip to Scotland, Paige told her fans she loved the experience even if her stay lasted longer than she had intended.

The WWE star stated: “Scotland I love you!! Had a blast here.

“You pulled up strong and I loved every second of seeing you all. Felt so good to see many faces too that I haven’t seen since my indie days! Even though you’ve kidnapped me and refuse to let me fly home (it’s storming here lol) I had an incredible time!!

“Always such a pleasure working with Monopoly Events. They’ve worked tirelessly today to try and get me home but also every single Con I do with them is the best."
