The Saints had narrowly beaten Narberth in their last league match but had a week off after Penybanc were unable to raise a side for their Division 4 Cup match.

The Saints showed no signs of rustiness, though, as they ran in nine tries to seal their sixth win and maintain their 100 per cent start.

Ben Joyce scored twice for the Saints, as did Dom Sinnott, and other tries were scored by Rhys Price, George Raymond, Adam Phillips, Ryan McVeigh and Dan Page.

Bob Froy and Michael Gurney added two conversions each, and one more came from Aaron Foster.

Ifan-Sion Mason-Evans and Deiniol Rees scored for the visitors, and they were also awarded a penalty try.

Rees added the other two conversions, but it was not enough to stop St Davids running away with the win.

Elsewhere, Teirw Crymych earned their second win of the season as they beat Pembroke Dock Quins 26-20.

Narberth Athletic also earned a big win as they beat Llanybydder 55-5.

Llangwm claimed their first win of the season on Saturday as they beat Tenby Athletic 42-19.

With the international games now taking centre stage, league rugby returns on Saturday, November 21.
