Remember the name, Alberth Bahamondes.
Ignacio Bahamondes is continuing his attempt to climb through the ranks in the UFC, but he is not the only one from the family making a splash inside the cage.
‘La Jaula’ has a younger brother, nicknamed ‘La Jaulita’, who is looking to follow in his footsteps by earning a spot on the roster in MMA’s leading organization.
Alberth is just nine fights into his professional career, but he may already be catching the eye of Dana White and the UFC matchmakers after what he did on Friday night.
Alberth enjoyed a 5-0 start to his pro career, with five straight finishes culminating in him winning a title under the Empire MMA banner.
The 18-year-old was handed his one and only loss to date in January 2025, when he fell on the wrong side of a split decision in Fusion Fighting Championship.
It is safe to say that the welterweight future star has bounced back from his maiden setback in the perfect way.
After first-round wins in September 2025 and April 2026, the younger brother of UFC star Ignacio returned to the cage for his debut in LFA on Friday night.
Alberth was up against a once highly-touted former Dana White’s Contender Series star in Joey Hart, but the 18-year-old made it look easy.
He needed just one minute to drop Hart with a clean combination on the feet before putting him out cold with some vicious ground-and-pound.

Among those training with the 18-year-old prodigy is former UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad, who had high praise for his teammate after Friday’s result.
“Most dangerous teenager in the world,” he wrote on X.
Fans also flocked to the comments section after clips of the younger Bahamondes’ latest victory spread around social media.
“18 YEARS OLD LADIES AND GENTLEMEN🔥”
“Good lord. Ignacio’s little bro may be a problem.”
“La Jaulita is legit.”
“Only 18? Wow.”
“Alberth Bahamondes always looked good, but it was a question of the opponents he was facing… He just eliminated all those questions like he did Joey Hart.”
