Remember to download Barclays Hampden App before semi-final

HIBS fans traveling  to Barclays Hampden for the Premier Sports League Cup Semi-Final on Sunday have been reminded to download the Barclays Hampden App.

With more that 18,000 Hibs fans expected to make the journey to Glasgow, supporters are asked to note the following information before travelling.

With the game kicking off at 3pm, turnstiles will open at 1:30pm.

Fans are advised to arrive early to avoid heavy queues at the turnstiles.

The Club have been given an allocation covering the East side of the national stadium in the North, South and East Stands.

No tickets are available on the day, so supporters not in possession of a valid ticket for the match, are asked not to approach the stadium or the surrounding area.

For anyone with ticketing issues on the day, a Ticket Resolution Point will be located at the North-East corner of the stadium, where staff will be on hand to assist from 1:30pm.

Supporters attending events at Barclays Hampden should be aware that the area immediately surrounding the stadium is mainly residential and the availability of on-street parking is extremely limited due to event-specific parking restrictions.

Both sets of supporters are encouraged to use public transport to get to and from the stadium, if not travelling by organised coach/bus.

Please note parking wardens will be on duty patrolling the restricted areas.

Details with regard to getting to and from the stadium can be found on the following websites:

Traveline Scotland: This is an excellent source of information regarding all forms of public transport to and from the stadium and provides up-to-date, live-time information.

The Journey Planner can be found at Traveline Scotland.

Barclays Hampden: For further information on parking at Barclays Hampden and how to get to the stadium, click on the following links.

Scotrail: Additional carriages and services will be running both pre- and post-event.

Segregation will be enforced on the train services, and Hibs Supporters should use the service to Kings Park train station.

These passes should be prominently displayed so that police motorcycles can direct the coaches as they approach.

Fans should check that their Barclays Hampden App is the latest version and the QR code on their ticket is available on matchday, and look out for the specific turnstiles that they need to enter the Stadium.

Anyone trying to enter the Stadium using the wrong turnstile will be refused entry.

All supporters are required to download the Barclays Hampden App to access their ticket and gain entry to the match.

Supporters who already have the app should ensure that the email address registered on the app matches the email address associated with their Hibernian FC e-ticketing account.

If the email addresses do not match, please update your details.

Supporters who do not have the app should download it and register using the same email address associated with their Hibernian FC e-ticketing account.

Once supporters have downloaded the app and purchased their ticket through Hibernian FC, their ticket will appear in the Barclays Hampden App.

On the morning of the match, the QR code will go live and become visible in the app. Supporters are strongly advised to open the app and load their ticket before leaving for the match.

A Hibs spokesperson said: “We ask you to think about your actions before, during and after the match.

“We remind all supporters that unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated, and anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics, throwing objects, causing damage, entering the trackside or field of play, or bringing in bottles/cans into the stadium can expect action to be taken.

“The Club will continue to support the actions of Police Scotland and the courts in acting against anyone detected carrying out a breach of the Ground Regulations or being involved in unacceptable conduct.

“Regardless, if we are home or away, sanctions against any breach may result in the individual facing an indefinite Club Ban, a Football Banning Order or, as we have seen elsewhere recently, a custodial sentence. Please don’t be that person!

“Walkways should be kept clear, and if seated in the stand, you are asked to take up your designated seat while watching the match.

“This is not only a ground-level regulations requirement but also in the interest of the safety of all members of the public.

“Football is a place where families come together to support their team, and Hibernian Football Club prides itself on being a Club for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, disability, colour, gender, religion, creed or sexual orientation. Please help us keep it this way.

“Finally, please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, stewards and Club officials over the PA system before, during and after the match.”
