Sheffield Wednesday suffered a 2-0 defeat to Notts County on Tuesday evening.
Henrik Pedersen’s side went 1-0 down just before half-time and then made a dreadful start to the second half as Jamal Lowe was given a straight red card.
Sheffield Wednesday played with 10 men for 40 minutes, so there was little hope of overturning the deficit once they went two behind.
The Owls have now won just one in their last five League One games and have dropped to sixth in the table.
With that said, here’s how supporters reacted to the defeat on TalkingPoints.
Wednesday fans are beginning to turn on Pedersen, and many now think it’s only a matter of time before he’s sacked.
Shamanth.jayaram noticed how much of the fanbase are now urging the club to replace him on social media.

Pederson out all over social media. Looks like it’s only a matter of time

Adnan.riaz has placed the blame on Pederson, too, whilst Johnverrall11 reckons former Stockport County manager Dave Challinor is likely to be appointed at some stage.

It’s all on the management. They are there to deliver a result and they messed up big time. It’s that simple.

Pedersen is in huge trouble I think. Challinor will be in soon

Challinor has been out of work since leaving Stockport at the end of last season. The 51-year-old guided The Hatters to a third-placed finish before losing 4-1 in the play-off final to Bolton Wanderers.
The 51-year-old used a 3-4-2-1 formation, so it would be a big change from the current 4-2-3-1 shape under Pedersen.
Wednesday’s board will have to consider whether such a change would be wise in the middle of the season, although the November international break offers more time on the training pitch to work on tactics.
For now though, it would seem very harsh to sack Pedersen as his side are only four points off the summit with a game in hand.
Wednesday return to action on Saturday afternoon when they face Doncaster Rovers at Eco-Power Stadium.
