Ronald Araujo has dropped a hint about when a decision will be made about his Liverpool future.
The Uruguayan joined the Reds on loan from Barcelona back in August, and has enjoyed a promising start to his time at Anfield.
Establishing himself at right-back under Andoni Iraola, the 27-year-old has made 14 appearances for Liverpool to date, returning two goals and an assist, and has quickly cemented his place as a firm fan-favourite.
The Reds possess a £47m purchase option to sign the defender permanently from the Catalan giants.
But while Araujo is reiterated just how happy he is at Liverpool, he insists a decision will not be made about his future until much later in the season.
“The truth is I am very happy, very happy,” he told Sky Sports. “It all happened so quickly but I am very happy, very grateful to the people.

“From the moment I arrived here at the club, they’ve made me feel like one of them. So I’m grateful for the love from people, very grateful. Truly, thank you! Also my teammates, the coaching staff, the people that work at the club.
“And yeah, I’m very happy, very grateful and enjoying it, and enjoying playing football and being on the pitch.
“I am very happy. Very happy with my present and joining this great club. Right now I’m in a stage of enjoyment, of maturing, of growth.
“Everything that happened, in the good moments and in the not so good moments, it improves you, it makes you mature.
“And right now I’m enjoying that. I am enjoying being on the pitch and having the consistency that I needed, and that’s reflected.
“I was very clear about and I am very clear about what I can contribute on the pitch. I was always clear about it, and I knew I needed that continuity and I was going to do it, and I’m just enjoying it and I am happy right now.
“I knew what I would be able to give to this club. I knew that with persistence and trust, I could bring my football to this club. That’s what I am doing. I’m grateful and giving my all always.
“There’s still a lot of time left, I can’t speak about the future if I don’t know what will happen by the time the decision is made. And there are still many months to go before that.
“So I am trying to enjoy every day, give everything I can, continue working hard, continue growing, and helping the squad so we can win titles, because I strongly believe in the team.
“We have a great team with experienced players, young players and very talented players. I have to keep working and we’ll see what will happen in the future.”
The Reds return to action on Wednesday they travel to Fenerbahce in the Champions League.
