WWE legend Mick Foley has called on November Midterm voters to stand up to "corrupt" President Donald Trump at the ballot box in two days. Foley, 61, has long been a critic of the President and hasn't been shy about using his platform to voice his opposition to Trump across his first and second terms.
So much so that Foley severed ties with WWE, where he achieved legendary status, over its close ties to the President. WWE has long been associated with Trump, years before his move into Politics, through former chief Vince McMahon, whose wife, Linda, is currently the U.S. Secretary of Education.
In his second term, WWE's ties to the Trump administration have grown closer. WWE legend and COO Triple H serves as the Vice Chair of the President's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition. That was the straw that broke the camel's back for Foley, who promptly severed ties with the WWE.
Now, Foley, beloved for his hardcore style, where he put his body on the line repeatedly, baring scars from it to this very day, has called on November Midterm voters to stand up to President Trump, whom he has branded "corrupt."
"I'm asking you to consider voting in a way you otherwise might not, to stop the corruption," Foley said. "This man, Donald Trump, seems to think he can do whatever he does without the oversight of Congress, and up until now, he's been largely correct.
"These men and women lack the fortitude, the courage, the backbone, and let's call it what it is, they lack the balls to stand up to the most corrupt President in the history of the United States."
Foley discussed a wide range if contentious topics, including the Epstein Files, gas prices, and the Iran War. "Only Congress has the right to declare war, and they did not, but they refuse to speak up and put pressure on the President because they are afraid of him," Foley continued.
Foley received support from another fellow WWE legend, Dave Batista, who has also opposed Trump. "Thank you for this brother! We're so much better than this administration. Grateful for your voice," Batista replied to Foley's post.
Trump has been on the campaign trail for Republicans countrywide in what could be some of the last Trump MAGA rallies ever held.
The President got nostalgic while in South Carolina. "We have the biggest rallies ever in history," Trump said.
"I hope you enjoy it because you're never going to see it again. You will never see what we've done. You'll never see it happen again."
