Kyle Berkshire is well known as the longest hitter of the golf ball on the planet.

Berkshire won the World Long Drive Championship four times during a five-year period from 2019 to 2023.

The 6ft 3in powerhouse generates tremendous speed and has been known to exceed 230 mph ball speeds with the driver.

Kyle Berkshire holds numerous records already including the longest drive on a golf course and the longest drive on a runway – 1,060 yards for what it’s worth!

Berkshire’s world record long drive on a golf course stood at 579 yards before this week.

The 29-year-old set that record in 2023 after clocking a 241.6 mph ball speed with his driver. And now he has beaten that record without reaching a ball speed as high as the one he generated three years ago.

Berkshire attempted to beat his world record this week in Rawlins, Wyoming.

The long-drive legend posted a video of his attempts to beat his own record to his official YouTube account.

The American powerhouse did not let anyone down. He produced an absolute monster of a drive after clocking a 234.2 ball speed.

With that swing, he recorded a drive that travelled a total distance of 588.3 yards – an absolutely gargantuan hit.

It is worth pointing out that Berkshire’s drive was downhill and downwind, although he only got 48 yards of run.

Berkshire carried his ball an incredible 540 yards through the air.

If only Kyle Berkshire was able to tone down his speed and was even half decent from 100 yards and in, he would surely be a real force on the PGA Tour.

That said, there is plenty of money in online content creation these days, so it might not even be worth his time trying to sharpen up his game in order to compete on professional tours.
