Thomas Tuchel has revealed that Manchester United stars Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo have not made his England squad for the November break.
Manchester United’s Premier League encounter with Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon is the Red Devils’ final fixture before the international break.
Kobbie Mainoo returned for the Red Devils last month in Man Utd’s 2-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge after he missed four consecutive matches due to injury.
Marcus Rashford is currently sidelined with a hip problem and has been absent for the Red Devils for the last four fixtures across all competitions for Michael Carrick’s men.

England’s official website on Friday confirmed the 25-man squad that Thomas Tuchel had picked for the Three Lions resuming their Nations League campaign this month. The Three Lions will play Croatia at Wembley on 12th November before they travel to Madrid to face 2026 World Cup champions Spain on 15th November.
No Manchester United first-team squad player made the Three Lions squad, despite Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo both making the cut under Tuchel in the past. Harry Maguire’s exodus from the England squad continues under Tuchel, while Luke Shaw is currently out of action with an injury.
Both Rashford and Mainoo were part of the England squad that finished third in the World Cup in North America last summer. The two United youth academy products were in the initial call-up of Tuchel’s squad for the extended October international break. However, both Mainoo and Rashford were withdrawn for the Nations League fixtures in September and October due to injuries they suffered at United.
Mainoo climbed off the bench in United’s encounter with Chelsea in the Premier League before making his return to the starting XI against Roma earlier this week. The 21-year-old Stockport-born talent completed the full 90 minutes in United’s 3-2 Champions League comeback win against Roma at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening.
Rashford has missed the matches against Como, Bournemouth, Chelsea and Roma and was an unused substitute for United’s 1-1 Premier League draw against Leeds United at Elland Road. The 29-year-old England international has not featured for the Red Devils since United’s 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
