Goncalo Ramos and PSG parted ways this summer after three very successful years together, and the striker has talked about his decision to go.

Now at AC Milan, striker Goncalo Ramos was a reliable rotation option for PSG in his time at the club. But finally he’s lifted the lid on his decision to depart the club in the summer, despite their immense success together.

Ramos on leaving PSG after “frustrations”

“It was difficult for me to leave PSG because the group was truly fantastic,” Ramos explained.

“There were the three Portuguese players I spent all my time with. They knew I wanted to leave and, jokingly, they told me to stay just for the atmosphere. We experienced many truly exceptional moments in this life of ours.”

“Over the last three years at PSG, I don’t think I’ve ever started four or five consecutive matches. And that’s precisely what we were talking about: there’s no consistency. Sometimes it was frustrating and it annoyed me

“I even scored in four or five consecutive matches without starting a single one. And for me, it made no sense. I talked about it with my family.”

He was a great servant to PSG, but made the right decision to leave.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s surgery has been completed and was a success, according to a release from PSG.

PSG manager Luis Enrique is not admitting that injuries are going to affect his team or their chances of winning everything this season.

Luis Enrique has denied PSG are going to sign a player in January to make up for the loss of Khvicha Kvarastkhelia.
