Three Sirens have cracked the Team USA roster for the IIHF Women’s World Championship in Denmark.

Casey O’Brien, Emma Peschel and Callie Shanahan will debut for the red, white and blue in Herning and Esbjerg from Nov. 6 to 16 and join 20 returnees from the 2026 U.S. Olympic women’s hockey team that won gold at the 2026 Winter Games in Milan in February.

“Following an exciting week of camp, we’re thrilled to announce the 25 players who will represent Team USA at the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship,” Katie Million, U.S. Women’s National Team GM, said in a statement. “With so much talent in our player pool, these decisions are never easy. We’re confident in the group we’ve selected and are excited to head to Denmark in pursuit of another gold medal for the U.S.”

O’Brien, a forward from Massachusetts and the University of Wisconsin, scored seven goals and tallied 15 assists in 28 games last season.

Shanahan, a Michigan native and Boston University graduate, is a backup goaltender for the Sirens.

“The team we’ve selected is incredibly talented and brings a level of skill that will be just as much fun to watch as it will be to coach,” John Wroblewski, head coach of the U.S. Women’s National Team, said in the statement. “We’re looking forward to getting to Denmark and competing for our ultimate goal, a gold medal.”
