No fans are quite like Swifties. That is, Taylor Swift fans who will ride for the singer, no questions asked. Those same fans will also barrage Taylor if they see her in public, trying to take a picture of her, get an autograph, or even just a quick wave. A woman opened up about witnessing as much in a video posted on X.
In the video, the woman says she witnessed Taylor fans’ behavior firsthand when Taylor attended a Chiefs game and sat in a private suite box. According to the woman, fan behavior was a bit out of control, with some people taking countless photos of Taylor and watching her rather than the game.
I stumbled upon this woman’s account. She was right there when the lady was asked to turn around by Taylor and her team…plus an inside look at the craziness of that section. I’m happy there are fans like this person who are respectful. https://t.co/dYcmKmhv1W

Although the X post does not immediately explain the context of the video that a user found online of one game attendee’s experience with Swifties, users in the comments claimed that the ordeal explained is from a 2024 playoff game. We all know this era. However, given that Taylor was seen at games well after that time, the explanation could be from any game that Taylor attended.
The woman explains in her video that she saw people stand in the empty seats near Taylor’s private box to get a closer look at the singer as she watched the game. Per the woman’s account of how things went down during the game, fans stood there to stare at Taylor instead of watching any part of the game. But that’s a Swiftie for you.
The woman explains that she and the people she was with for the game were seated near Taylor’s box, but they were respectful in watching the game and also stealing glances at the superstar singer and her entourage. Other Taylor fans were not so sneaky with it, though.
“And they were just annoying, because they’re in our face the whole time,” the woman explains, of the Taylor fans who took up space where intentionally empty seats were. The seats were, presumably, left empty and unsold in order to allow some semblance of privacy for Taylor. “People didn’t even look at the field. They’re just standing, watching the suite. They don’t even look at the field. It was bizarre.”
She also says that a woman “barged up” to the area and began to yell Taylor’s name. She was removed from the area, but not before she complained about traveling all the way from Germany. She also mentions how a couple of the other Swifties who showed up were “a mom and her kid.” Which, according to the woman, is the type of fan you’ll see a lot when it comes to trying to get a peek at Taylor.
Something about 40 year old women calling themselves “swifties” makes me cringe

Superfans for any celebrity are expected to be overly eager and excited to be in close proximity to the stars. But for Swifties, the love and adoration is on a whole other level. In a Reddit thread about Swifties, users were quick to make fun of them and their loyalty to Taylor.
“A friend of mine is a Swiftie and Travisty,” one user commented on the post. “She’s got a bit of [a] superiority complex; can’t admit when she’s wrong; and gets easily manipulated by tiktok propaganda.”
Another wrote, “They all dress and act like Disney adults.”
“Emotionally stunted/immature for their age, living vicariously through her,” someone else suggested. For every Swiftie, there is definitely at least one hater ready to call them out.
