German referee Sascha Stegemann will oversee the Europa League clash against Besiktas at Celtic Park.

He will be assisted by Christof Gunsch and Marco Achmuller, with Martin Petersen as the fourth official. Benjamin Brand will manage VAR, supported by Patrick Hanslbauer.

Stegemann has previous experience with Celtic, having been in charge of VAR during the 0-0 draw against Dinamo Zagreb in December 2024.

Following their European fixture, Celtic will face Kilmarnock in a Premiership match on Sunday, November 8. The game will kick off at 4pm at Celtic Park.

John Beaton will take charge of this league match, his second Celtic appointment of the 2026/27 season. He will be assisted by David Roome and Gordon McCabe, with Colin Steven as the fourth official.

Grant Irvine will be in charge of VAR, assisted by Dan McFarlane.

Last season, Beaton refereed seven Celtic league matches, of which Celtic won five, drew one, and lost one. These victories were against Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Falkirk, and twice against Motherwell.

Celtic's sole defeat under Beaton was a 2-1 loss at Dundee United.

His first appointment for the 2026/27 season was the Glasgow Derby against Rangers at Celtic Park.
