Draymond Green picked up his first ejection of the season on Monday night after he got into it with Dillon Brooks at the Chase Center.
Green got into it with Khaman Maluach in the third quarter of their matchup with the Phoenix Suns on Monday, which sparked the entire altercation. Maluach appeared to shake Green off and knock him to the ground, which left him wide open for a pass in the lane.
Green, clearly upset, jumped up immediately and grabbed Maluach as he was going up for the layup. Green kept going and threw Maluach down to the court.
Though things stopped for a moment after that, Brooks came running in to confront Green. The two got into it briefly under the basket before they were eventually separated.
Green was ejected from the game after picking up two technical fouls, the first for throwing Maluach down and the second for going at it with Brooks. It marked the first ejection of the season for Green, and the 23rd of his regular season career.
Brooks also received a technical during the incident.
Green finished the night with four points and four rebounds. The 36-year-old is in his 15th season in the league this fall.
