Bristol City need more players to contribute to goals and assists says manager Michael Skubala, with his side struggling to find the net.
The Robins have won once in their past six Championship games, scoring just three times.
Their total of 12 goals across their 11 league games is the fourth lowest in the division. Only Charlton with 10 and Lincoln, Derby and Preston with nine have scored fewer.
"You want the strikers to score goals but I think the team has to chip in with more - more assists, more goals," Skubala told BBC Radio Bristol.
"I like teams to be braver in and around the box, when we get there can we play forward even though it's another 10-metre pass, can we get the ball in the box, can we create more chances?
"There's a stage back to more goals, it's how we can create more chances and how we can be brave and still take people on and how we can get more chances from that situation.
"We're looking at that, we've been working hard on that all week - the lads have been brilliant this week in training"
Only Dom Ballard and Scott Twine with three and Lorant Tolaj with two have scored more than once for the Robins in 2026-27.
And although Rio Cardines' six assists is the most in the Championship, only Jed Wallace and Tolaj have also contributed assists, with one each.
Skubala says the team still needs time to gel together, with so many new players brought in over the summer.
"We've made a lot of signings that are still knitting and still growing," he added.
"Not only are they getting to know each other, they're getting to know how I want it to look and how I want it to be - I don't think it looked anything like I wanted it to look like, or the fans want it to look like, or even the players want it to look like on Saturday [against Sheffield United]."
Against the Blades, City had seven shots and one on target with Skubala describing them as playing "sideways too much" and that they "launched" the ball to Ballard without getting him support.
They lost the game 1-0.
He pointed to meeting with Blackburn a week before where they had 20 shots and seven on target - albeit without scoring - as what he wants his team to play like.
"We have to get back to a performance level that we want the game to look like," he said.
"It's really difficult because you can be drawn into games that the opposition want it to look like."
City, who travel to Stoke on Saturday, have also been boosted by the return of Joe Williams and Tolaj from injuries, with both available for selection.
