Later this month, 24 amateur darts players will try to beat Luke Littler live on Netflix and win a life-changing sum of money.
Titled 'Beat Luke Littler', the contestants will have the opportunity to play a leg of darts against the two-time world champion. They win a staggering £501,000 if they emerge victorious. If they lose, they go home with nothing.
The live show will air live on Netflix at 7 pm on Friday, October 30. Gary Lineker will host the event, with Richard Osman serving as an expert analyst. YouTuber and Littler's good friend Angry Ginge, former darts pro Laura Turner, and comedian Lee Mack will also feature.
Littler, who is regarded as one of the greatest players in darts history despite still being a teenager, is confident that no one will be able to beat him. He said:
“Everyone thinks they can beat me. Now they get a chance to prove it. I think it'll be an amazing night and I’m just really looking forward to getting started.
"There’s half a million quid up for grabs, I won’t be going easy at all. I’ll be wanting to beat everyone who comes up. Maybe the first few legs could be a bit nervy, but once I get going then I don't think anyone will stop me.”
The audition process took place across London and Manchester in September. It started with participants attempting to complete a leg of 501 in 24 darts or fewer.
Successful players then progressed to an interview with the show's producers before a final stage assessment with a judging panel, which included 16-time world darts champion Phil Taylor and Matchroom founder Barry Hearn.
The players that will compete on the show have now been revealed, and some big names feature.
The biggest name that will take on Littler is Fallon Sherrock. The 32-year-old, dubbed 'The Queen of the Palace', is the only woman to ever win a match at the PDC World Championship. She reached the third round of the tournament in 2020, beating Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljovic. She has competed every year since but has failed to win another match.
Another huge name is darts wonderkid, Mitchell Lawrie. The Scot, who has been tipped to go to the very top of the sport, reached the final of the 2025 WDF World Championship at the age of just 15. He is currently ranked as the WDF number one and is the overwhelming favourite to win the world title later this year.
Other recognisable names in the world of darts that will partake is Ashley Coleman, who made his name on YouTube and regularly competes on the Challenge Tour, Katie Sheldon, who is one of the best woman's players in the world, and darts prodigy Jayden Walker.

The 24 contestants will compete for 20 spots. The remaining players will then be split into groups and randomly selected to take on Littler. The competition ends the moment somebody defeats 'The Nuke'.
Many darts fans on X aren't happy with the selections. One said: "Wasn’t it advertised as giving pub dart players a chance to beat Littler. Why am I seeing professional dart players who’ve played in majors? You’ve made a right mug out of anyone who queued for hours for this slop of a 'competition'".
A second commented: "What was the point in having all the people queueing for hours who also probably had to take time off work to give it a go? What a scam."
A third wrote: "How to totally f*** up a great idea," while a fourth said: "Just not what was advertised at all - feel sorry for the people that wasted time and money even trying."
A fifth commented: "Ridiculous how they’ve got pros rather than county players," while a sixth stated: "85% of this field could have been compiled by anyone with an ounce of darting knowledge. Incredibly poor that you've made thousands of people queue up for which now looks for the most part was just all about getting some footage for the show."
