Conor Benn is keen on fighting another huge name when he returns to the boxing ring.
2026 has been an up-and-down year for Benn, who ended 2025 with a revenge win over his long-time rival Chris Eubank Jr at 160lbs having lost their first fight earlier the same year.
In April, he returned and fought at a 150lbs catchweight against ageing former champion Regis Prograis in his first fight for Zuffa boxing.
He then went back down to welterweight for the first time since 2022 to take on WBC ruler Ryan Garcia and was stopped inside two rounds in his first world title fight.
Speaking to Sky Sports Boxing, Benn revealed he was offered a fight with the legendary Manny Pacquiao for next month.
“I know the Pacquiao fight was offered for me for December and I wasn’t ready to get the fight done in December, but if he wants it Q1 next year we can do Pacquiao.
“The fight for presented to me for December, and it was just too soon, making weight, I’ve got a newborn son, so for me it was about spending time with my family and enjoying this period, the festive period with my family.
“But Q1, if he wants to get it on, I’m interested. He’s an all-time legend, an eight-division world champion, an all-time great, he’ll go down in the history books so another stadium show, it sounds nice.”
Benn said last time out that he would not be fighting again at 147, having naturally outgrown the division and that arguably showed in his below-par performance against Garcia, though it seemed he could be lured back down for someone of the status of the ‘Pacman.’
