Manchester United could face fresh financial windfall from Altay Bayindir's Celta Vigo loan spell, despite not making a competitive appearance. According to reports in Spain, the La Liga side must pay more than the agreed loan fee if the Turkish shot-stopper doesn't receive sufficient playing time.
As it stands, Bayindir has been unable to usurp Ionut Radu as the Celta number one with the Romanian emerging as the preferred option in both the league and Europa League. It has been suggested that the United loanee could be used for European competitions to reduce financial liability but also allow Radu to earn a rest.
But so far Radu has started all three outings in Europe. It has been said that a clause was included to protect Bayindir's development and give him a better chance of playing in Spain.

Head coach Claudio Giraldez faced questions over the summer arrivals and their lack of impact for the Estadio Abanca-Balaidos club.
Although he called for patience, he cited that Bayindir's circumstances are different to other incomings in a pointed message to the United man.
He said: "Each player has their own circumstances. Altay's (Bayindir) situation is not the same as Sebas's (Caceres).

"They are different situations. We all want them to arrive and perform, but we have to be patient. Everyone is working hard; I don't see anyone ignoring the issue."
Bayindir completed a move to Celta on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent transfer. But the signs look bleak for the club receiving windfall from a deal as his wait for competitive minutes drag on.
If they were to trigger the option, he could cost them in the region of £3.5million, and a high sell-on clause would be included if they trigger that option.
While largely reduced to being a back-up goalkeeper at Old Trafford, Bayindir played six games for United last season and has made 17 appearances for the club.
After Senne Lammens arrived from Belgium, the Turkish goalkeeper found it difficult to break back under former head coach Ruben Amorim.
