The San Francisco 49ers are reportedly still looking for wide receiver help ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline, and the asking prices for three potential targets are beginning to emerge.
The 49ers previously explored a reunion with Jauan Jennings, but that possibility is now off the table after a reported trade agreement with Minnesota fell through. That leaves several other options, with reported asking prices attached to each.
According to Yahoo Sports' Jori Epstein, league sources believe a third-round pick could be enough to acquire Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr. Tennessee Titans receiver Calvin Ridley could be a less expensive option, with ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reporting that Tennessee would likely need a fifth-round pick to part with the veteran receiver.
The Indianapolis Colts firesale remains in full effect and the 49ers could look at receiver Josh Downs after acquiring DeForest Buckner earlier. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on "The Pat McAfee Show" that Indianapolis is seeking a third- or fourth-round pick for Downs.
The 49ers don't have a 2027 fourth-round pick after trading it to the Colts for Buckner, but they do have their own first-, second- and third-round picks, as well as a sixth-round pick from the Ravens and a seventh-round pick from the Chiefs. That should be enough to land any of the names mentioned. San Francisco has all of its 2028 draft picks, too.
The 49ers' interest in adding another receiver makes sense given their injury situation. Mike Evans (Achilles tendinitis), Deebo Samuel (hamstring), Demarcus Robinson (ankle) and rookie De'Zhaun Stribling (ankle) are all working their way back, with each expected to return at some point this season.
However, getting healthy and staying healthy are two different things. Without those four available, Brock Purdy has leaned heavily on Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle, along with Jordan Watkins, Brandin Cooks, Jacob Cowing and Christian Kirk.
