Barrow go into the clash with The Green Army on a seven-game unbeaten run after beating Gloucester City 2-0 away from home in Tuesday's FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay.
Goals from Arian Allen and Thierry Latty-Fairweather helped the Bluebirds overcome a difficult contest against the Southern League Premier Division South after drawing 0-0 at Holker Street at the weekend.
Murray said: “It’s going to be a tough game, a really tough game. One of the highest budgets in the league, a lot of good resources.
“They've obviously signed a really good group of players and they should be out of this league by now.
“They've been up there for the last few years but not quite got it over the line. So, we know we're in for a really tough game and we'll probably go into it as underdogs.
“They've obviously used to being in and around the play-offs and fighting to get out of this league.
“A very strong squad but we're in a good moment so we'll go into it confidently and we'll try as much as we can to make the game about us.”
Murray said the last two games against Gloucester had tested the team in a different way to any other match so far this season, as the lower league side set up with a low block off the ball.
The gaffer said: “Over the last two games, it has been more situational than anything else.
“Because we've had a lot more of the football, just some of our decision-making in terms of making it easy for the opponent.
“I think we were quite safe at times, especially in the first game. Maybe not in the second game, but in the first game we were very safe and that's not us as a team.
“So, it’s just understanding that when we need to put people to the sword and when we have to be patient, I think that comes with that comes with learning.
“It comes with different situations that you face. So, I'm hoping that we came out of these two games more prepared for when we face that situation again.”
Barrow AFC face Forest Green at 3pm on Saturday, October 24 at Holker Street.
