Parker Washington saved his best move for the Ravens defense just before halftime, ensuring Baltimore took notice.

With 58 seconds remaining in the second quarter, the Jaguars receiver transformed a one-on-one situation into a 50-yard touchdown that extended the lead to 17-3 and essentially sealed the first half. Baltimore deployed a Kyle Hamilton blitz targeting Trevor Lawrence, leaving safety Malaki Starks isolated in coverage against Jacksonville's primary receiver.

Washington defeated him, secured the reception, and utilized his pace to create separation.

Then, approaching the goal line, he tiptoed and ran perpendicular to the end zone before ultimately crossing it, taunting the Ravens defenders pursuing him prior to scoring.

The play concluded a first half in which the Jaguars dominated virtually every aspect of the game, despite the rain at M&T Bank Stadium. Jacksonville accumulated 223 total yards in the half compared to Baltimore's 101.

Neither team fumbled or threw an interception, but the Ravens were flagged five times to the Jaguars' two, including back-to-back false starts that contributed to stalling an 11-play drive.

Lawrence inflicted most of the damage aerially. He connected on 9 of 15 passes for 197 yards and a touchdown, with the Jaguars distributing targets among backup tight ends, Jakobi Meyers, Nate Boerkircher, and Washington, all of whom found opportunities.

Boerkircher's 52-yard reception on the first drive came after Lawrence rolled to his right and got the better of cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who was already facing heat in Baltimore over the team's defensive woes. Humphrey had minimal support, with top corner Nate Wiggins sidelined due to illness.

Bhayshul Tuten capped that opening drive with a 1-yard touchdown run, while Cam Little tacked on a 36-yard field goal later in the first quarter - a drive that received a boost when Nnamdi Madubuike jumped offside on a fourth-and-4 that Jacksonville had engineered with a pre-snap motion.

The Ravens, fielding undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano in place of injured quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, found themselves unable to generate any offensive momentum.

Fagnano, who had a heavy wrap on his right ankle, completed 7 of 11 passes for just 30 yards and never attempted a throw beyond six yards. Baltimore leaned heavily on Derrick Henry, who even took direct snaps and completed a wildcat pass to Zay Flowers that lost 3 yards.

The Ravens' only points came courtesy of Jake Moody, stepping in for the injured Tyler Loop, with a 53-yard field goal. Baltimore's biggest gain for much of the half was a 9-yard run by Flowers.

Henry climbed the all-time career rushing charts during the half, surpassing Jerome Bettis and LaDainian Tomlinson to reach 13,689 yards, placing him seventh all-time. Curtis Martin, with 14,101 yards, is the next target.
