Tottenham Hotspur Women boss Martin Ho has handed fans a big boost ahead of Saturday’s clash with Arsenal. Speaking at his pre-match press conference, he confirmed that Jess Naz is ready to return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The England forward has spent ten months recovering from a serious knee injury. Her return gives the Lilywhites an extra option for the 12.45 pm kickoff.
Naz has impressed the coaching staff since returning to full training at Hotspur Way. Ho told the media:
“Jess Naz is in contention to be in the squad. She has been exceptional in the last 10 days in terms of training, attitude and confidence in her rehabilitation and how she feels physically.”
The number seven has not played since hurting her knee against Aston Villa in December 2025.
Adding Naz back into the fold gives the manager a welcome selection headache for the visit of Arsenal. Ho added:
“A big decision for me now that I have to leave people out of the squad. But, apart from that, Olga, with a bit of a knock still, will take a bit of time.”
Along with midfielder Olga Ahtinen missing out, defender Clare Hunt also continues her recovery from injury.
"She's been exceptional in the last ten days." 💬

Getting Naz back on the grass comes at a good time for Tottenham after two recent league losses. While she may start on the bench after such a long spell out, her pace can stretch Arsenal defenders late on. Spurs created plenty of openings for an hour at Chelsea last time out without taking their chances. Having a proven forward on the bench gives Ho a fresh way to change the game.

Saturday afternoon marks the first of three Women’s Super League games at the main stadium this season. A big home crowd will turn out in north London hoping to see Spurs bounce back against their fierce rivals. The N17 faithful will give Naz a loud welcome if she steps onto the pitch in the second half. Picking up a result on her comeback would make the day even better for the club.
