Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain continue to chase FC Nordsjælland’s Prince Amoako Junior after looking at him in the summer.
The Ghana international first moved to Europe when the Danish club signed him from Right to Dream Academy in February 2025. He didn’t make an appearance for them during the 2024/25 season.
Last season, the winger impressed for his side, scoring nine goals and contributing six assists in 35 matches. His displays didn’t go unnoticed, and he ended up on the radar of top clubs like Manchester United and PSG.
In May, Sport Witness covered a report from Ghana explaining that the Red Devils and the Ligue 1 winners had set their sights on him. FC Nordsjælland wanted around €27-32m in the summer.
A move never took shape, and he’s still at the Superliga side. The 19-year-old has two goals and an assist in 19 matches this season. Although the statistics aren’t impressive, the Ghanaian media recently reported he’s a target for PSG.

After relaying this, Campo in Denmark explains the interest from the Red Devils and the Paris club ‘is not new’.
In the summer, there were reports linking him to several clubs, including Premier League sides. However, Nordsjælland refused to let him leave and the decision could pay off.
FC Nordsjælland raised €27.5m through player sales in the summer and €27m was from Caleb Yirenkyi’s move to Coventry City. There could be more sales next year, especially after this season.
Prince Amoako Junior, who is being sought after, is causing a stir’ and can be the main candidate for the big sale.
He’s attracting interest from European clubs as they continue to follow him. This includes Manchester United and PSG, who are in the race to sign the winger.
Besides the duo, there are other unnamed clubs, and Nordsjælland may find it difficult to retain him if there’s a concrete attempt either in January or next summer.
The attacker has a contract until 2030, and Transfermarkt value him at €8m. However, the Danish club are likely to demand a fee higher than that, also considering his price was €27-32m in the summer.
