Omaha Supernovas and LOVB Nebraska to play in Devaney Center in 2027

Nebraska athletics announced that the Bob Devaney Sports Center is hosting two professional volleyball matches in 2027. The Omaha Supernovas and LOVB Nebraska will host a match at the home of Nebraska volleyball.

The Supernovas open up the Major League Volleyball (MLV) 2027 season against the Los Angeles Thunder at the end of February. LOVB Nebraska then hosts a League One Volleyball (LOVB) in late March with the opponent, match date and start time to be announced.

The two teams are also home to six former Huskers. Merritt Beason and Leyla Blackwell both play for the Supernovas. Rebekah Allick, Lindsay Krause-Wildeman, Jordan Larson and Lexi Rodriguez all play for LOVB Nebraska.

Early access to purchase tickets for the Supernovas' match is available at www.mlvb.com. Presales for the match open on Nov. 4. Tickets for the general public go on sale on Nov. 12.
