The Leicester Tigers hooker, from Seaton, is in the England A squad for Friday's clash with Argentina.
It sees the 28-year-old on track for his latest international outing in recognition for his good form at club level.
Blamire is one of eight capped England players in Mark Mapletoft's training squad ahead of Friday's game at Bath's The Rec.
The west Cumbrian recently spoke of his frustration at not making Steve Borthwick's full England squad but stressed his determination to continue progressing with Leicester.
"It’s obviously frustrating not to make it but it’s not in my control," the former Workington Zebras and Seaton Rangers player told The Rugby Paper.
“I missed the opening two games of the season for Tigers but I feel I’m now getting back into it.
“I’ve been here over a year now and I’m really enjoying it.
“It was a different level of training and it’s helped improve my game.
“I feel my biggest growth has been around the collision area and set-piece.
“Leicester is a team based around the set-piece so I wanted it to be a big part of my game..."
England said the 30-player A squad has been selected "through a co-operative approach involving Mapletoft, England senior men's head coach Steve Borthwick, and Conor O'Shea, RFU Executive Director of Rugby Performance."
Mapletoft said: “There is real ambition within this group, and we are looking forward to building strong relationships, developing cohesion and unity, and taking another step forward together ahead of a physical and demanding test at The Rec.”
The game, which kicks of at 19:45, will be shown live on the England Rugby YouTube channel and Premier Sports.
