Newcastle United head to Fulham today with head coach Matthias Jaissle still searching for the right formula to get the best from his side. We've seen glimpses in the first few months of the season, but they have been few and far between, and United go to Craven Cottage in desperate need of three poiints.
Jaissle must contend with the injured Joelinton and suspended Jacob Ramsey, but could welcome Mathias Fernandez-Pardo and Lewis Miley back into his squad against a Fulham side who have started to find form.
United's lack of goals has been a major concern of late, although they have a good record in London so far this season, with wins over Spurs, Palace and Millwall, all without conceding a goal.
Here are the sides our NUFC writers would pick this afternoon, plus your chance to select your starting XI.

I personally would not rip things up and start again as Newcastle need continuity and consistency in the coming weeks but I would make a couple of changes.
My first big move would be to bring in Malick Thiaw after a breather and get him in the centre of defence alongside Dan Burn. For me Thiaw and Burn could be the strongest combination in the heart of the defensive rearguard.
Amar Dedic and Lewis Hall continue as full-backs and I think the two holding midfielders pick themselves in Nico Gonzalez and Sean Steur. I think Bazoumana Toure deserves a start on the left and I'd go with Anthony Elanga on the right.
Perhaps Yoane Wissa and William Osula can work as the no 10 and no 9. I'd also stick with 4-2-3-1 at Craven Cottage.
My NUFC XI: Hornicek, Dedic, Thiaw, Burn, Hall, Gonzalez, Steur, Toure, Wissa, Elanga, Osula.
I feel like Newcastle need to revert back to 4-3-3 to become more difficult to break down in midfield and hopefully more of a threat going forward.
The absolute no-brainer is to bring Sean Steur into the team and I would play him and Joe Willock either side of Nico Gonzalez in a midfield three given the absence of Joelinton and Jacob Ramsey through injury and suspension. Lewis Miley may be involved in the squad but it would be a big ask for him to start having missed the last few games with an injury of his own.
Anthony Elanga was poor on Monday but I think you have to give him the benefit of the doubt and hope he rekindles his form at the start of the season and his partnership with Amar Dedic down the right-hand side. Harvey Barnes and Will Osula should complete the front three, even if Matias Fernandez-Pardo is fit to return to the squad. The back four and goalkeeper should remain unchanged.
My NUFC XI: Hornicek; Dedic, Schar, Burn, Hall; Steur, Gonzalez, Willock; Elanga, Barnes; Osula
It feels like something radically different is needed to shake Newcastle out of their current malaise, but while there are undoubtedly options for the trip to Fulham, picking the right side and formation isn't easy.
Sean Steur starts for me, obviously. It's a no-brainer and hopefully it will be for Jaissle. Joe Willock is fortunate that Jacob Ramsey is suspended and Lewis Miley still feeling his way back to fitness, otherwise I'd be leaving him out too, but I will be asking him to play deeper in a 4-3-3 rather than a No 10 role which leaves the midfield light of bodies.
The misfiring attack feels like it needs work done to it as well, but with Fernandez-Pardo facing a late test and Bazoumana Toure still not fully up to speed, making changes is risky. Nonetheless I'm going to start Toure on the left wing and switch Harvey Barnes to the right, with Anthony Elanga axed.
My NUFC XI: Hornicek, Dedic, Schar, Burn, Hall; Steur, Gonzalez, Willock; Barnes, Osula, Toure.

Bear with me, I'm changing things. Jaissle must pick a side which suits the squad he has available, so I'm going for a switch to five at the back . . . but in an attacking sense. United's wingers are offering precious little right now, so why not push Lewis Hall and Amar Dedic foward and offer something more in the way of protection with an extra central defender.
Schar or Thiaw can push into midfield to help stop those turnovers which are destroying Newcastle time and again, with Sean Steur and Nico Gonzalez operating as a central pair.
Harvey Barnes and Matias Fernandez-Pardo can play as two No 10s behind Will Osula up front, to help get bodies into the box. Sorted, easy as that.
My NUFC XI: Hornicek, Dedic, Thiaw, Schar, Burn, Hall, Gonzalez, Steur, Barnes, Fernandez-Pardo, Osula.
So now you've seen our teams, it's your turn to pick your Newcastle side from the players available today.
