Vikings Mock Draft Monday: What do they need after Week 7?

The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C. next year. In that draft, the Browns still have their first-round pick, but a lot could happen in the next 7 months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup about the team, and who they may add through the draft in a class many are calling one of generational wealth.

While we will always look at mock drafts from analysts around the space, we will also keep up with our Mock Draft Mondays here on Browns Wire.

The Vikings remain undefeated through six games and seven weeks of the season, but is that enough to affect the picks ahead? Let's dive into our next installment of 3-round 2027 NFL Mock Drafts for the Vikings.

Round 1: Boubacar Traore, Edge, Notre Dame

Traore is a really fun pass rusher in a class that is deep at the position. He was ejected early in their big matchup with BYU, which could've served as a showcase game, but alas. He will now get to showcase himself against a tough Miami offensive line in a few weeks, which could cement himself in Round 1 talk.

Round 2: Austin Siereveld, OL, Ohio State

Austin Siereveld is a very good, sound, offensive line prospect. He can play tackle, guard, or even center. If the Vikings went with him, he could be a center for them on day one but could also serve as a valuable reserve at every position on the line.

Round 3: Xavier Scott, CB, Illinois

Brian Flores with someone like Xavier Scott could make this a homerun pick for the Vikings. He is a physical corner with good ball skills, but his injury history will prove to be an issue. He can be brought along slowly by the Vikings but could eventually be someone they trust on the outside.

Round 3: Willie Rodriguez, TE, Kentucky

Willie Rodriguez is a fun, athletic tight end who can make plays in the passing game, as well as in the run. He could be a long-term replacement for T.J. Hockenson. Josh Oliver continues to be someone they believe in and they could keep the two tight end system working well with Rodriguez.
