Even with a down game form both of them, Indiana's dominant duo still leads the rushing charts in the big Ten after eight weeks. Turbo Richard is the top dog despite only rushing for 68 yards in the Hoosier's win over Michigan. Lee Beebe Jr. also had a slow day, but the fact that Curt Cignetti can rely on both of his backs is huge.
While UCLA's leading rusher in Wayne Knight scored a touchdown, he was not their big story on the ground, as Anthony Woods moved within one spot of the top 10 with a solid performance that included 112 yards and a TD. Still, o other player in the Big Ten has hit double digits in the rushing touchdown department but Knight.

After a bye week, Penn State's rushing leaders remain the same with Carson Hansen leading the way with 278 and James Peoples right behind at 246. Still, the run game has been one of Penn State's biggest issues throughout the season, so chances are that Matt Campbell will want to ensure that his squad's solidity on the ground is fixed down the stretch. It could be the difference between a bowl appearance and missing out entirely.
