Plans for the building at Abode Arena in Mulberry Park, would provide changing rooms for men's, women's and youth teams, facilities for match officials, a medical room, office space, accessible toilets and a community room.
The club say the 267-square-metre building will help it meet Football Association requirements and expand its facilities for the wider community.

A separate spectator toilet block, two timber pagodas and associated hardstanding areas also form part of the scheme.
Solar panels would be installed on the roof to improve the building's energy efficiency.
Plans explain the development would help the club meet Football Association ground-grading requirements and provide space for new and existing clubs and community groups.
The design and access statement says the development is intended to provide "modern, accessible welfare facilities" for players, match officials and spectators, while also creating a flexible community space that can be used beyond matchdays.

The proposed hub would include dedicated changing rooms for home and away teams, officials' facilities, a kitchenette and a multi-purpose community area capable of hosting meetings and local events.
According to the application, the works would not alter the site's primary use as a football ground and have been designed to sit alongside the club's existing facilities.
Plans explain the scheme will support both existing and future teams at the club, including youth and women's football, while providing additional facilities for community groups using the site.
South Norfolk council will now consider the plans.
