England face brutal Six Nations schedule

There is little room for error for England.

Borthwick's men finished fifth in the 2026 championship, losing four of their five matches.

That included a historic first defeat to Italy and a dramatic 48-46 loss to France in Paris.

Now England must begin their 2027 campaign against Ireland and France.

They then host Italy before travelling to Cardiff for a huge clash with Wales.

Their final match comes against Scotland, with the Calcutta Cup up for grabs at Twickenham.

England will hope to build momentum ahead of the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.

Why the 2027 Six Nations could be special

France enter the tournament as defending champions after winning the 2026 title.

Their final-round victory over England was one of the most dramatic matches of the championship.

The 2027 schedule also features some mouth-watering rivalries.

England face France on Valentine's Day, while Wales welcome England to Cardiff on 6 March.

Scotland host Ireland under the Friday night lights at Murrayfield.

And the tournament could finish with a title decider when Ireland host France in Dublin.

With the Rugby World Cup taking place later in 2027, every match will carry extra weight.
