FOOTBALL - Worcester City discover FA Cup first round opponents

WORCESTER City will play Colchester United in the first round of the FA Cup if they beat Chorley in a replay.

Worcester will travel to Colchester’s JobServe Community Stadium on the weekend of Saturday, November 7.

City play three levels below Colchester who play in League Two.

Winning clubs will receive £47,750 while losing clubs will receive £15,800.

Colchester have played in the Football League since the 1992/93 season.

The U’s finished 12th in League Two last season.

Worcester must first overcome National League North side Chorley in a replay at Sixways Stadium to reach the first round proper stage.

A last gasp equaliser from Josh Ezewele sent the fourth round qualifying tie to a replay as the game finished 1-1.
