Mitchell Lawrie will face one of the biggest names in darts as part of Netflix's Beat Luke Littler live event at Manchester Central on Friday, October 30.
The 15-year-old has already found success in the sport, having been a two-time Youth World Darts champion and the current WDF number one.
Lawrie, who is one of 24 contestants that will take on the darts sensation, will be competing to try and win a life-changing £501,000 prize.
Speaking about his excitement at the opportunity, he said: "I think I can be great.
"I think I can go on to be one of the best this sport has ever seen.
"I believe I can do it, but I just need to go out there and show the world what I’ve got.
"I’ve played him [Luke Littler] once before - he beat me 3-2, and I missed match darts to beat him.
"I know what he’s capable of - he’s the best darts player in the world for a reason.”
Littler added: "I think it'll be an amazing night and I’m just really looking forward to getting started.
"There’s half a million quid up for grabs, I won’t be going easy at all! I’ll be wanting to beat everyone who comes up.
"Maybe the first few legs could be a bit nervy, but once I get going then I don't think anyone will stop me.”
