The action begins on Saturday with several intriguing encounters before attention switches to the Genero Adran Trophy on Sunday.
Here's our pick of five games worth keeping an eye on.
Arguably the biggest assignment of the weekend comes on Sunday when Llanfair United welcome Wrexham in the Genero Adran Trophy.
The visitors are the defending Trophy champions, having beaten Cardiff City on penalties in last season's final, giving Llanfair the chance to cause a major cup upset on home soil.
The tie is a straight knockout contest, with the winners progressing to the quarter-finals.
Local bragging rights will be on the line when Llanfyllin Town entertain Welshpool Town in the first round of the MMP Central Wales League Cup on Saturday.
The Montgomeryshire neighbours already know plenty about each other, with Llanfyllin having beaten Welshpool 2-0 in a league meeting last season.
Welshpool go into this weekend sixth in the Central Wales League North with 16 points from nine games, while Llanfyllin have six points from five outings.
With league points put to one side, a place in the next round and local bragging rights will be the prizes at stake.
There is another all-Powys encounter at Carno, where Radnor Valley are the visitors in the Ardal North East.
The sides begin the weekend level on six points, although Carno have played 10 games compared with Radnor's seven.
Carno sit 14th with Radnor immediately above them in 13th, meaning three points could prove valuable as both look to climb away from the lower reaches of the division.
Builth Wells have the opportunity to close the gap on the leading pack when they welcome Cefn Albion.
The Bulls begin the weekend ninth in the Ardal North East with 11 points from nine outings, while Cefn occupy sixth with 16 points from eight.
Victory would therefore cut the gap between the clubs to two points, although Cefn would retain a game in hand.
An intriguing Montgomeryshire contest completes our five as Abermule welcome unbeaten league leaders Berriew in the MMP Central Wales League North.
Berriew have made an imposing start with eight wins and two draws from their opening 10 league games, scoring 35 goals and conceding only eight to accumulate 26 points.
Abermule are 13th with five points from 10 matches, leaving the hosts with the considerable challenge of attempting to become the first team to inflict a league defeat on their neighbours this season.
