WWE WrestleMania 43 is still scheduled for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in April 2027. However, ongoing tensions in the Middle East have raised questions. Fans have also wondered whether Las Vegas could host the event again.
The speculation grew after Eric Bischoff discussed a possible backup plan. He said he would be surprised if The Sphere wasn’t considered. However, a new report has offered a reality check.
According to Fightful Select, WWE currently has no plans to use The Sphere in Las Vegas as a backup venue. The report also highlighted scheduling conflicts at the popular venue.
The report stated, “There is no indication that WWE is planning to use The Sphere in Las Vegas as a backup WrestleMania venue, despite recent speculation, @FightfulSelect has learned. The venue has John Mayer performances scheduled during the internally targeted April 10–11 dates, as well as at the end of the month. Oprah Winfrey is also there April 2-4.”
These existing bookings make The Sphere a difficult option. The report doesn’t completely rule out future changes. However, there is currently no indication of WWE planning this move. WWE WrestleMania 43 remains scheduled for Riyadh in April 2027.
WWE has not announced any venue change so far. The ongoing regional tensions have fueled speculation about alternative locations. WWE previously moved WrestleMania 42 to Las Vegas. The event was originally planned for New Orleans. It was later scheduled for April 18 and 19.
This decision brought WrestleMania to Las Vegas for two consecutive years. The Sphere was suggested as a possible alternative venue. However, the latest report doesn’t support that speculation. As of now, WrestleMania 43 is still expected in Saudi Arabia.
