They're taking the Mik! Arsenal boss reveals he is collecting dossier of other managers breaching technical area in bizarre rant - despite criticism that HE is the worst offender

Mikel Arteta bizarrely claimed he has collated footage of other managers breaching their technical area as a body of evidence after receiving his second yellow card of the season.

Arteta was booked in the second half by referee Tony Harrington for venturing outside his area. Later, assistant manager Gabriel Heinze was yellow carded for a similar infringement.

Yet, the Spaniard said he has evidence of other coaches doing the same ‘36 times in 10 minutes’ without getting a yellow.

Arteta will miss a game on the touchline if he receives a third yellow card this season.

‘I do have to be careful. And we need to have good sensors there,’ he said.

‘There are managers that have the record in the league - 36 times in 10 minutes leaving the touchline, no yellows.

‘So I'm clipping all of that. I have a massive storage of images. So if somebody is going to say, “I'm not in the record yet, somebody else has the record”, then it's 36 yellow cards in 10 minutes for the (other) manager.

‘I don't know where we're going to be.’

He also reiterated the need for his team to focus on their own performances amid the cloud over when sanctions for Manchester City’s breaches of the league’s financial rules could be enacted.

He added: ‘We have to just focus on what we can do and we are very pleased with 90 per cent of the results and performances that we have apart from the Brighton game.’

Meanwhile, David Moyes spoke of his disappointment over an Everton display which gave them a second league defeat of the season.

‘Just OK, done some good bits but not enough,’ said Moyes.

‘To give the goal away early was a problem for us. After them having a game midweek, it gave them something to hang onto and play with.

‘We did a lot of good things but, at that moment, we didn't get it right.’

On the lessons from their defeats to Chelsea and Arsenal, he added: ‘We're competitive against them both. We've not been rolled over in either game.

‘We're lacking a little bit, which we know but I do think that in the main, we've tried to give both games a good effort and I think we did. Today we didn't do as well as we'd like but we still gave it a good effort.’
