Penybont's impressive season continued as they cruised to an emphatic victory over Cardiff Met.

Nathan Wood, Tom Mehew and Tyler Walker all netted in the space of seven first-half minutes at Cyncoed Stadium to put Rhys Griffiths' side in complete control.

Mehew then scored twice in quick succession either side of the hour mark to complete his hat-trick and cap off a memorable afternoon for the Bridgend side in the Welsh capital.

Victory - their 10th in the league this season - cemented Bont's grip on third place in the table.

The Archers are winless in three league outings and currently sit eighth - six points adrift of the top six.

The New Saints 0-0 Connah's Quay Nomads

League leaders The New Saints and second-place Connah's Quay Nomads played out a goalless draw in Sunday's later fixture.

The draw means reigning champions TNS have extended their 15-game unbeaten run to start the campaign, but failed to score for the first time since drawing 0-0 with Penybont on the opening weekend.

Connah's Quay are also in the midst of an unbeaten run, having avoided defeat in their last seven games, though this draw ended a six-game winning streak.

Airbus UK 3-2 Caernarfon Town

Airbus made it four straight wins in the Cymru Premier in a five-goal thriller against Caernarfon on Friday evening.

Oliver Lansley put the hosts ahead early on, but went into the break level after Sion Bradley's equaliser from the spot.

A George Peers double in the space of four minutes after the break put Airbus in control, before Zack Clarke's late strike set up a nervy final few seconds.

But the hosts held on and remain one point behind Barry Town United, who sit sixth.

Ammanford 0-1 Haverfordwest County

Haverfordwest backed up last week's win over Barry Town with victory away at 10-man Ammanford.

Dylan Rees' strike in first-half stoppage time was the only goal of the game, as Ammanford failed to bounce back from their 9-0 hammering against The New Saints last time out.

Ammanford's evening got worse in stoppage time as Jonathan Evans was shown a second yellow card and given his marching orders by referee James Walker.

They were presented with a golden opportunity to claim a point after being awarded a penalty at the death, but goalkeeper Ifan Knott kept out Callum Thomas' spot-kick as the Bluebirds clinched a dramatic win.

Barry Town 3-0 Trefelin

Barry Town returned to winning ways after a three-goal first half against Trefelin at Jenner Park.

Dan Barton put the hosts ahead after quarter of an hour, and they were given the opportunity to double their lead when Jasper Jones conceded a penalty on 29 minutes - and was sent-off for his tackle.

Elliot Dugan made no mistake from the spot, and Noah Daley put the result beyond doubt before the half-time whistle.

Barry could not add to their lead in the second half, but will have been pleased to bounce back from last week's defeat to struggling Haverfordwest.

Briton Ferry 3-0 Llandudno

Llandudno suffered a sixth-straight Cymru Premier defeat as they were well beaten away at Briton Ferry.

Thomas Price's first-half goal set the hosts on course for their fourth league win of the season.

The game remained close until the closing stages, before goals from Ollie Anderson and Joseph Lloyd sealed victory for Ferry.

The hosts are now just one point behind Llandudno, who have slipped to 10th.

Colwyn Bay 2-0 Cambrian United

Cambrian United fell to a fourth straight defeat as they were beaten by Colwyn Bay.

Fifth-place Bay needed just 15 minutes to open the scoring, with Josh Williams on target in the first half for the hosts.

Callum Bratley doubled their lead just before the hour mark, as Colwyn Bay registered a ninth league win of the season.

Cambrian's horrid run of form has seen them drop to just two points above the bottom six.

Flint Town United 5-0 Holywell Town

Winless Holywell's struggles continued as Flint's resurgence continued with a five-goal thumping on Friday night.

The hosts, whose four league wins have all come in their last five fixtures, took the lead after five minutes through Ben Hughes.

Isaac Modi doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time, giving bottom side Holywell a mountain to climb.

But Flint's evening only got better in the second half, as goals from Tunde Owolabi, Modi and Lassana Mendes capped off a brilliant night for the hosts.
