The Jacksonville Jaguars capitalized on a rare fumble by Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor to score a 31-yard touchdown from Trevor Lawrence to rookie tight end Nate Boerkircher.
Boerkircher now has a touchdown in each of the past two games after not scoring in his first five games.
Here is a look at Boerkircher’s touchdown, courtesy of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ official social media:
His touchdown gave the Jaguars a 14-0 lead and was sparked by a key block from Brenton Strange.
Jacksonville’s defense has stuffed the Colts’ offense this entire game. Indianapolis has 87 total yards through their first five drives and just six first downs compared to the Jaguars’ 171 total yards and nine first downs.
If the Jaguars win this game, they will extend their lead in the AFC South.
