Was Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes correct in his analysis of his side's tactics in their 4-1 thrashing by Italian side Como?

Reading this makes me despair of how much technical tactics are taking over our game.
Surely Como won because they passed to their own players, tackled better, took their chances, and worked harder than Man Utd?
Although not directly similar, but this is what worries me a little about Shaw and Cohen. They are “coaches” and want to outwit the opposition by changing tactics and players every game.
Our success last season from December onwards was through playing our best eleven players every game and playing the same way every game to bring out the best in those eleven. That has been the basis of all the successful seasons I’ve been privileged to see in Taylor, Murph, and Cowley days. And of course last season.
Football is still a very simple game despite the modern obsession with tactics.
Or maybe I am just way too old……..
