Martin O’Neill says Celtic have no option but to recover quickly from Thursday night’s Europa League defeat to Celta Vigo.
The Hoops lost 2-1 at Celtic Park after letting a second-half lead slip, with Mika Baur’s opener cancelled out by two Javi Rodriguez goals.
Our Celtic manager page covers his record and background.
But there is little time to dwell on it.
Celtic are back in Premiership action on Sunday with a trip to Easter Road to face Hibernian, and O’Neill knows the squad must now get itself ready for another demanding fixture.
Speaking to BBC Sport after the defeat to Celta Vigo, O’Neill was asked how Celtic recover ahead of the Hibs match.
He said: “I think this is the whole point.
“We have to recover from it. We’re in tomorrow morning.
“And we’ll try and get ourselves physically right for the game, which is the most important thing.
“I think that psychologically, I don’t think tonight will do us real serious damage.
“One never knows. But it’s a tough schedule for us.
“The last week has been tough travelling to Portugal. But listen, no excuses.
“We are what we are. And we have to try and win.”
Now the job is to make sure Thursday night does not bleed into the league campaign.
Easter Road has rarely been an easy place for Celtic, and Hibs will see a chance to test a side coming off a draining European night.
