During the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp addressed a fan question about potential in-ring retirements for several top WWE Superstars, including CM Punk (48 years old), Randy Orton (46), Roman Reigns (41), and Seth Rollins (40). In 2022, Orton mentioned that he hoped to wrestle for another 10 years.
Sapp pointed out that Orton has at least three years remaining on his current contract. In August 2024, it was reported that Orton signed a five-year contract extension with WWE, which will take him through to approximately 2029. By that time, Orton will be 49 years old.
Sapp also noted that Rollins’ current WWE contract is set to last at least three more years, which would make him around 43 years old when his deal expires. As for Reigns, Sapp stated that WWE will allow him to continue working his part-time schedule "as long as they will have him," suggesting he might not retire from the ring for another ten years.
Sapp speculated that Punk will likely have his “full-time farewell” at the conclusion of his current contract. Punk reportedly signed a three-year contract upon his return to WWE in late 2023. However, he indicated last year that WWE was trying to persuade him to sign a new five-year contract.
