Victor Wembanyama was the star of the show as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 121-111.
The T-Wolves were without Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert, but they still produced a gritty performance. However, that was not enough to stop Wembanyama, who dominated them.
At one point, Minnesota head coach Chris Finch was so frustrated that he took his anger out on the referee for what he felt was a wrong call.
At the end of the first quarter of the game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the San Antonio Spurs, a loose-ball foul was called against the Wolves.
Dylan Harper’s shot rebounded off the board, and the ball headed in Wembanyama’s direction. However, he could only tap it away due to the number of bodies blocking him.
The referee viewed that as a loose-ball foul and blew his whistle, and that angered Finch, who had a real go at the official.
Replays show the Wolves head coach screaming: “What are you supposed to do? He is eight feet f****** tall.”

It’s funny to look back on Finch’s reaction now, but it just shows how difficult it is to guard Wembanyama, who is 7’4″ tall with a wingspan between 8′ and 8’3″.
The Spurs superstar went on a tear against the Wolves, scoring a game-high 43 points, seven boards and six blocks in what was an incredible Halloween performance.
San Antonio have now won four games on the bounce after starting the season 0-2, and if Wembanyama continues playing like this, they could go the distance this season.
