Devin Haney has signed a multifight agreement with DAZN, which he says will offer his best opportunity to pursue the biggest fights in boxing.
"I'm at a point in my career where I want the biggest challenges and the fights the fans want to see," Haney said in a statement. "I'm excited to partner with DAZN. This agreement removes any doubt or uncertainty about my ability to make the major fights in boxing. I'm in position to fight anyone, and I'm focused, motivated and ready for whoever is next."
An undefeated three-division champion and current WBO welterweight champion, Haney (33-0, 15 KOs) has not officially booked his next fight. He could be in line for a unification bout against IBF champion Liam Paro. Discussions for a bout against junior welterweight champion Shakur Stevenson recently fell through, both fighters have stated on social media.
The WBO had ordered a purse bid for Haney's 147-pound matchup in July against mandatory challenger Keyshawn Davis (15-0, 10 KOs), but Davis withdrew from the bout after rejecting the terms.
Haney, 27, won the WBO welterweight championship with a unanimous decision victory over Brian Norman Jr. In November and has not fought since. He is ESPN's No. 1-ranked welterweight and No. 7 in the pound-for-pound rankings.
