Wrexham produced a brilliant display and thoroughly deserved their 2-0 win against Championship leaders Middlesbrough at The Racecourse.
Phil Parkinson's side played well throughout and second half goals from George Thomason and Ollie Rathbone sealed the three points.
Here's how the players rated.
ANTHONY PATTERSON: Saved the shots that were straight at him and his awareness was good apart from a stray clearance that wasn’t pounced upon. 6
MAX CLEWORTH: His drive forced the first save out of Radek Vitek. Defended well and his distribution was good too. 7
JOE WORRALL: Sold at the heart of the Reds back three where he was handed the captain’s armband in place of Dom Hyam. 7
CALLUM DOYLE: Shame a chance in the second half was on his right foot but was sound at the other end of the pitch. 7
ISSA KABORE: Saw plenty of the ball in the first half but his end product wasn’t as good as it can be. 7
BEN WHITEMAN: Had a decent game and was a lot more positive with his passing in the middle of the park. 7
GEORGE DOBSON: Put in the type of performance you get from the midfield man as he made a nuisance of himself. 7
JACQUES EKOMIE: Seemed reluctant to get forward at times but played his part in a vital victory. 6
LEWIS O’BRIEN: Ran and harried all night long and only a tight offside flag denied him a goal 30 seconds into the second half. The star man set up Ollie Rathbone’s header. 8
GEORGE THOMASON: Played in a new-look three-man midfield and the goal was the icing on the cake for the midfielder. 7
KIEFFER MOORE: Put in another shift for Wrexham and can claim the assist for Thomason’s opener. 7
SUBSTITUTES
OLLIE RATHBONE: He scores a lot from midfield but not many of them are headers. 7
BEN SHEAF: Came on to replace Dobson, who had been yellow carded. 6
