An unexpected new Rangers fourth shirt has been leaked online for the 2026-27 season, introducing a bold aesthetic and sparking immediate curiosity over an unexpected sponsor detail.
Images published exclusively by kit specialists Footy Headlines reveal a striking fourth jersey produced for the Light Blues. The design showcases a never-seen-before aesthetic for the Ibrox club, combining vibrant cyan with deep black in an eye-catching quartered layout that extends across the body and sleeves.
While the vibrant colour combination is entirely fresh, the quartered construction subtly echoes the panelling of Rangers’ memorable 1996-97 away strip. The top features a split black and cyan crew-neck collar with subtle white trim, matching a crisp white Umbro double-diamond crest alongside the traditional RFC monogram positioned inside a black-and-white chest shield.
However, beyond the eye-catching colours, supporters will be quick to pick up on a major commercial curiosity regarding the front of the jersey.

What changes should Derek McInnes make to the Rangers XI vs St Johnstone?
This poll is now closed.
Prominently displayed across the chest is the logo of home heating brand BOXT. On Rangers‘ primary home, away, and third strips for the current campaign, betting operator Unibet serves as the official front-of-shirt sponsor, while BOXT is positioned as the sleeve sponsor and also appears on the front of junior shirts.
The appearance of BOXT in the main chest position on a senior fourth kit will raise eyebrows, leaving it unclear whether the top represents a specialised commercial release, a promotional lifestyle collection, or a limited-edition drop intended strictly for retail.
The leak also comes against the backdrop of wider discussions regarding the club’s kit manufacturing setup. During the Fan Advisory Board meeting on 10 October, Andrew Cavenagh and Co. provided clarity on their long-term agreement with Castore, confirming that the current partnership has three remaining years and will be fulfilled.
While Umbro branding appears on this leaked fourth strip, courtesy of Castore’s sub-licensing agreement following the use of the iconic double diamond, representatives confirmed that Castore branding will return directly to official team tops next season.
With Rangers already boasting a diverse trio of kits and having no European fixtures on their schedule this term, fans will now be watching closely to see when and how this unexpected fourth jersey is officially unveiled.
