Alan Paver praised his Cornish Pirates side's intensity as they beat Rotherham 40-21 in the Champ.
It was the Pirates' first away win since 21 March as they ran in six tries at the newly-promoted Titans to move up to fourth in the table.
"We were hungry to get up here and get our first away win," joint-head coach Paver told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"The intensity we brought to the game for the full 80 minutes was there to see for everybody.
"We're just really pleased, we understand Rotherham have done extremely well and they're a tricky opposition, especially at home."
Callum Bustin gave the hosts a 16th-minute lead, but Pirates responded with three tries to lead 21-7 at the break.
Arthur Relton's 23rd-minute score drew the Cornish side level before Arwel Robson and Hugh Bokenham went over in the final five minutes before half-time.
Henry Palmer ensured a bonus point for Pirates eight minutes after the restart before Zac Nearchou pulled a try back for the hosts.
Morgan Nelson got a fifth try for Paver's side after an hour before Ben Cambriani got Rotherham's third soon after as Matt Pritchard completed Pirates' scoring in the final moments of the game.
"There's a lot of learning. There's still a long way to go for this group," added Paver.
"But it's a big milestone, a win away from home, and we'll see what that does for us going through the league.
"We've got a really important block coming up now and I think these next three games will really tell us where we are."
