How to watch Arsenal vs Everton live: Stream, TV, team news, prediction

Arsenal host Everton on Saturday as Mikel Arteta locks horns with his old mentor David Moyes.

The Gunners grabbed a deserved draw at Bayern Munich on Wednesday, but it came at a cost as Bukayo Saka suffered an injury. Some other injury issues are calming down as Arteta keeps on rotating and the reigning Premier League champs are getting the job done.

Moyes is doing yet another superb job with a small squad, as Everton look set to push all the way for Europe this season. They lost at home against Chelsea last weekend, their first defeat of the season, as they are struggling for creativity at times.

Arsenal team news

Saka’s injury is a huge concern given how well he’s started the season. William Saliba is working his way back to fitness, while Christos Tzolis remains out injured on the left. That means that Eberechi Eze, who came on for Saka and scored in Munich on Wednesday, will likely start on the left and Noni Madueke, who scored the winner at Nottingham Forest last weekend, will start on the right.

Everton team news

The Toffees have a very settled 4-5-1 formation with Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall given the freedom to roam. Tyrique George or Brennan Johnson could start out wide in a more attacking lineup, or Merlin Rohl could continue on the right to add defensive solidity. Thierno Barry has been working so hard up top but has missed a few sitters this season. But Everton’s playmakers are creating chances and will look to hit Arsenal on the counter.

Arsenal vs Everton prediction

This has been a tiring week for Arsenal but this is when the strength of their squad kicks in. Expect Arteta’s side to get the job done, but it won’t be easy and they could fall behind but rally late. Arsenal 2-1 Everton.
