Benfica arrives in excellent form for the match. The team managed by Marco Silva won against Alverca 1-0 in the last round of the Portuguese Championship, with a penalty goal by Vangelis Pavlidis, and achieved its sixth consecutive victory.

In the Europa League, the Eagles lead the overall standings, with nine points earned in three matches. The team won against Milan 2-0, Celtic 4-1, and Omonia also 4-1, showcasing one of the most efficient attacks in the competition, with ten goals scored.

For the match, Benfica is counting on Pavlidis' good form and the strength of its squad to maintain its 100% record in the continental competition. Playing at the Estádio da Luz, the Portuguese team seeks three more points to get closer to direct qualification for the round of 16.

Lech Poznan comes into the match after beating Wisla Krakow 3-1 in the Polish Championship. The result marked the team's fifth consecutive victory in the national competition, where they are in the lead with 31 points earned in 12 rounds.

In the Europa League, however, their performance is quite different. The team managed by Niels Frederiksen occupies 32nd place, with only one point in three matches. After suffering heavy defeats (4-0) against Crystal Palace and Bayer Leverkusen, the team drew 1-1 with Sunderland.

Despite their good form domestically, Lech will face a difficult challenge in Lisbon. The team needs to improve its defensive performance and take advantage of offensive opportunities to try and score points against one of the main contenders for qualification.
